Community Guidelines
CruiseCtrl works because people treat each other like adults and like humans. These rules apply everywhere on CruiseCtrl — profiles, photos, Voice Vibes, chats, and Beacons. Breaking them can cost you your content or your account (see "How we enforce" below).
Be real
- Be 18 or older. No exceptions, ever. CruiseCtrl is strictly for adults.
- Be yourself. No impersonation, catfishing or fake profiles. Your photos should be of you.
- Be honest about your intent. That's the whole point.
Be respectful
- No harassment, bullying, threats or intimidation — including unwanted repeated contact and unsolicited comments about someone's body.
- No hate or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, body type, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, or HIV/health status. That includes racism, femmephobia, transphobia, sizeism and serostatus-shaming, and exclusionary "no ___" statements.
- Consent first, always. No unsolicited explicit content. Ask before sending nudes or explicit messages.
- Don't out anyone. Never share another person's identity, photos, messages, location, sexual orientation or HIV/health status without their consent. Outing can put people in real danger.
Health & HIV status
Health information, including HIV and testing status, is sensitive and private. Sharing it is always the individual's choice. We never use it to shame, harass or discriminate, you can't search or filter people by it, and we never sell it or share it with advertisers. (See our Privacy Policy.)
Never allowed
- Anything involving minors. Any sexual content involving or sexualising minors — real, drawn, AI-generated or fictional. We remove it, ban the account, preserve evidence and report to the authorities (in Ireland, An Garda Síochána and hotline.ie; and to NCMEC where required).
- Non-consensual intimate images ("revenge porn"), including deepfakes/synthetic content, and any threat to share them. You can report these even if you can't or won't upload the image; we work with StopNCII.org.
- Sexual violence, coercion or non-consensual content of any kind.
- Sextortion / blackmail. If someone threatens to expose you, don't pay — stop contact, keep evidence, and report (see our Safety Guide).
- Commercial sexual services — escorting, solicitation, prostitution, or "compensated"/"sugar" arrangements.
- Selling or promoting illegal drugs or weapons.
- Scams, fraud, phishing or requests for money, gift cards or crypto.
- Spam, bots or bulk messaging.
Nudity & explicit content
Public-facing areas (profile photos, Radar cards, Beacons) must be non-explicit: no exposed genitals, erections, sexual acts, bodily fluids or pornographic poses. In private 1:1 chats and opt-in, age-gated private albums, nudity between consenting adults is allowed — but only with consent, and the bans above (anything involving minors, non-consensual or illegal content) apply everywhere, including private channels. Explicit options are off by default and available only to verified 18+ members who opt in.
How we enforce
We use a mix of automated detection and human review, and we aim to act on reports — typically within 24 hours. Enforcement is proportionate and usually graduated: a warning, then content removal, then temporary suspension, then a permanent ban. Severe violations (anything involving minors, non-consensual intimate images, credible threats, sexual violence, sextortion) can mean an immediate ban. Serious safety risks and illegal content are escalated immediately and may be reported to law enforcement.
If we action your content or account, we give you a clear statement of reasons and, except where the law prevents it, the chance to appeal to a reviewer who was not involved in the original decision.
Reporting
Every profile and conversation has Report and Block tools — please screenshot evidence first where you can. You can also email safety@cruisectrl.eu, our point of contact for reporting illegal content. We confirm we've received your report and tell you what we decided. Ireland's online-content regulator is Coimisiún na Meán.
